Abstract
Coexist: The Art of Design presents for the first time in Design Society Shenzhen a
panorama of Chinese Contemporary Collectible Designs, and brings China’s
impression of design into the 21st century in a global context. Design Society
Shenzhen is a comprehensive institution focusing on the art and design, it is also the official long-term partner of Victoria and Albert Museum (V&A) in China. The
selected works for this exhibition is specially demonstrative of the paths all cross
within the realm of the contemporary collectable design through conceptual, hand
crafted, pioneering technology etc , thus creating a new vocabulary of Chinese
Collectible Design
