Abstract
In the past ten years, the art market of Asian countries has shown extraordinary performance. For example, New York remains the world's largest art market and has great business opportunities, and Chinese art collectors are investing in art overseas increasingly. However, the cost for international artwork transportation is very high, especially in ceramics, porcelain, and furniture. For saving cost, collectors usually accept longer transportation times; in some cases, it takes a month to receive a newly bought collection. In other cases, collectors save money by not purchasing an insurance coverage, which increases exposure to the frequent risk of accidents that occur during transportation. Then who takes responsibility?
iDan provides Trans-Pacific art consulting and artwork management services, which includes: professional artwork packaging (encasement/fabrication), international transportation, customs clearance in various countries, professional art advisory and participate in live auctions on behalf of clients, art collection management for different customer needs, art works storage, languages and customized services support, and convenient method of payments. It intends to advance the established and emerging art collectors and entrepreneurs in personalized services to enable mutual learning about art and co-creation of the art market. Our business slogan is “Shorten Your Distance to The World. Let Art Save Humanity.”
