Abstract

Mission: To encourage the discovery, community, and engagement in Emerging Latin American, Latinx, and BIPOC art, by providing an attractive platform to showcase 3D exhibitions and to experience, connect, and transact in Latinx, Latin American, and BIPOC emerging art.

Exclusive Platform for Young Collectors: Ars Necto is a one-stop shop to find emerging Latin American, Latinx and BIPOC art. By providing an engaging, sleek, bilingual platform to connect and interweave Latin American, Latinx and BIPOC artists and art enthusiasts, Ars Necto is a space where clients can experience art in 3D virtual exhibitions, connect directly with emerging artists and other members, collectors, and art professionals through a collection profile, and have direct exposure to up-and-coming emerging art by participating in scheduled art tours. Ars Necto provides customers worldwide a vast roster of new and carefully curated works, providing a space for viewers to transact and purchase artworks through the website or app. We acknowledge that the increase in international interest and movement of the market is still not enough leverage to push the market forward. The social and political barriers that Latin American, Latinx, and BIPOC art markets face present difficulties in navigating the premature market. Ars Necto aims to break these dividing barriers and sociopolitical limitations that hinders access to the public. Ars Necto perceives the economic growth of large South American art countries, as well as the growth in movement in the Latinx market globally as indicators of steady increase in the pool of potential collectors. Limitations are obvious in that first, Latin American art market remains mostly neglected, especially regarding the worldwide market and emerging art. Ars Necto will function as a tool to help the Latin American, Latinx and BIPOC art scene more accessible, ultimately cultivating emerging artists and young collectors while increasing their knowledge and confidence in the market. By gathering artists, small exhibition spaces, collectors, curators, art professionals and art enthusiasts, we’ll generate a community that can really see clarity in the up-and coming generation of Latin American, Latinx, and BIPOC arts. The educational and social experiences we offer, seeks to assist users in discovering and engaging with fellow members and encourage them to become the latest patrons of Latin American, Latinx and BIPOC arts in a post-vaccine scenario.
