Abstract
This thesis wants to compare two similar but different realities which are Bank of
America Art Services (United States) and Unicredit Art Advisory (Italy). The purpose of the study is to understand and determine how the country in which they operate impacts them through the analysis of the services they offer.
Bank of America and Unicredit propose similar and different services regarding art
consulting, art banking, and art lending. The challenge with this study is that there is not a large bibliography on the art services Bank of America and Unicredit have, especially for the Italian one. The methodology for this thesis consisted of meetings with Dana Prussian, Senior Vice President of Art Services at Bank of America, and Domenico Filipponi head of Art Advisory Services at Unicredit to discuss the services provided and information collected by banks’ websites and articles about.
