Abstract
The primary task of this thesis is to explore the application of the impact investing
concept to art. We will look into the history of impact investing, highlighting its benefits and addressing challenges, discuss applicable business models and financial instruments, and look into the examples. While impact investing is becoming more and more popular in many industry sectors, it is, to a significant extent, neglected in the art sector. The reasons for such skepticism may serve as indicators of the issues that need to be addressed while advancing impact investing in this area.
