Description
Increasingly, artists are curating greater numbers of exhibitions internationally. This panel explores how curating has been incorporated into artistic practice. Moderated by Dr. Kathy Battista, MA Contemporary Art Faculty, Sotheby's Institute of Art, the panel features Dr. Alison Green, Course Leader of MA Culture, Criticism and Curation at Central Saint Martins, London, Dr. Michael Corris, Professor of Art, Meadows School of the Arts, Southern Methodist University, Dallas, Texas, and Rainer Ganahl, New York-based artist. It celebrates the publication of a new book, "When Artists Curate," written by Green and commissioned by Corris, published by Reaktion Press in London.
